Summary: StayBlock provides a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for hotel occupancy optimisation. Our service is delivered digitally. We charge an 9% performance fee on incremental revenue we generate for your property — you pay nothing upfront and nothing unless we produce results.
StayBlock Technologies, Inc. ("StayBlock", "we", "us", or "our") operates an intelligent hotel inventory optimisation platform. We help accommodation providers maximise occupancy by intelligently reshuffling existing bookings to create contiguous available blocks that can be sold on OTA channels and direct booking engines.

StayBlock is a digital software service. No physical goods are delivered. Our service includes:
Service begins upon completion of the demo request form and successful onboarding by a StayBlock account manager. Access credentials are provided via email within 1 business day of registration confirmation.
We support integration with Opera PMS, Mews, Cloudbeds, Apaleo, RoomKey, and 30+ additional platforms. Integration is typically completed within 24–48 hours of onboarding. Our team provides full technical assistance at no additional cost.
Once integration is verified, the StayBlock optimiser runs automatically against your live availability data. Your first reshuffling recommendations are typically surfaced within 24 hours of go-live.
StayBlock charges 9% of incremental revenue generated through our platform. "Incremental revenue" means revenue from bookings on nights that were previously unbookable due to isolation gaps in your availability calendar — nights that would not have been sold without StayBlock's intervention.
Your baseline revenue — all bookings that would have occurred without StayBlock — is always 100% yours. We earn only when we generate new value for you.
There are no setup fees, monthly subscriptions, minimum commitments, or licence fees. You only pay when we deliver measurable results.
Fees are calculated weekly and automatically debited every Monday from your nominated payment method. A detailed attribution report is sent to your registered email address each billing cycle.
Payments are processed securely via Paystack. By using our service, you authorise StayBlock to debit the weekly performance fee from your nominated account or card. All transactions are encrypted and processed in accordance with PCI DSS standards.
StayBlock uses a last-touch attribution model. Only bookings on nights that were directly created or unblocked by the StayBlock optimiser are counted as incremental. Full attribution logs are available in your dashboard at any time.
StayBlock targets 99.5% platform uptime, excluding scheduled maintenance windows. Maintenance is performed outside peak hours (01:00–05:00 UTC) and communicated at least 24 hours in advance. In the event of unplanned downtime, no performance fees are charged for the affected period.

You may cancel your StayBlock subscription at any time with no cancellation fees or penalties. Send a written cancellation request to support@stayblock.com. Service will continue until the end of the current weekly billing cycle, after which access will be deactivated and no further fees will be charged.
Upon cancellation, all StayBlock integrations with your PMS and OTA channels will be disconnected. Your baseline inventory and bookings are unaffected. Any fees due for the final billing cycle will be collected on the next Monday.

We will provide at least 7 days' notice before termination except in cases of fraud.
Because StayBlock charges only on verified incremental revenue — not on upfront or subscription fees — refunds are not typically applicable. In cases of disputed attribution, we will conduct a thorough audit within 5 business days. If we find the disputed booking was misattributed, we will credit the fee amount to your next billing cycle or issue a direct refund, at your preference.
Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the billing date to support@stayblock.com with your booking attribution details.
StayBlock processes your hotel's availability and booking data solely for the purpose of delivering our optimisation service. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties except as required to provide the service (e.g., channel managers, PMS integrations). For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
Data is processed in accordance with applicable international data protection regulations including the GDPR (EU), POPIA (South Africa), and CCPA (California).
StayBlock provides its service on an "as-is" basis. While we make every effort to maximise your occupancy and revenue, we do not guarantee specific financial outcomes. Hotel market conditions, guest behaviour, and OTA algorithm changes are outside our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StayBlock's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to this service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to StayBlock in the 3 months preceding the claim.
This policy and all matters relating to the StayBlock service are governed by applicable international commercial law. Disputes shall be resolved in good faith through negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under internationally recognised arbitration rules.

StayBlock may update this Service Delivery Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
